1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using LocalSaver (“the platform,” “we,” “us”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the platform. LocalSaver is operated by Zavian Digital, Surrey, BC, Canada.

2. What LocalSaver Is

LocalSaver is a free deal discovery platform that connects consumers with promotional offers from local businesses. We facilitate deal listings and redemptions but are not a party to any transaction between consumers and merchants.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use LocalSaver. By creating an account, you confirm you meet this requirement.

4. Consumer Accounts

  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • You may not share your account with others or create accounts on behalf of others
  • Each deal claim is tied to your account — QR codes are single-use and non-transferable
  • We reserve the right to suspend accounts that abuse the deal claiming system

5. Deals & Redemptions

  • Deals are provided by participating merchants and are subject to availability
  • LocalSaver does not guarantee that any deal will be available at any given time
  • Redemption is at the merchant's discretion — LocalSaver is not responsible for merchant refusals
  • Deal values, savings amounts, and expiry dates are set by merchants and may change
  • Claimed QR codes expire when the deal expires or when redemption limits are reached

6. No Payment Processing

LocalSaver does not process any payments between consumers and merchants. Any purchase, tip, or spend that occurs during a redemption is solely between you and the merchant. LocalSaver has no liability for those transactions.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You may not:

  • Create fake accounts or claim deals fraudulently
  • Sell, transfer, or trade deal codes
  • Attempt to circumvent single-use QR code restrictions
  • Scrape, copy, or reproduce deal content without permission
  • Use the platform for any unlawful purpose

8. Business Listings

Businesses listed on LocalSaver are onboarded and managed by the LocalSaver admin team. Merchants are responsible for the accuracy of their deal listings. LocalSaver reserves the right to remove any listing at any time without notice.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on LocalSaver — including the name, logo, design, and copy — is owned by Zavian Digital or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

10. Disclaimers

LocalSaver is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or availability of any deals. Use the platform at your own risk.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LocalSaver and Zavian Digital shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform or any deal redemption.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of BC.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of LocalSaver after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms. We will update the “last updated” date above when changes are made.
